Samsung is rumoured to be readying a new addition to its Note range, with an 8-inch screen the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will be taking on the Apple iPad Mini.
According to SamMobile the Note 8.0 will be revealed next month at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Codenamed ‘Kona’ it will have an 8-inch 1280×800 Super Clear LCD screen and run Android 4.2 Jelly Samsung Galaxy Note 2.0 7Bean. On the back there’s a 5-megapixel camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for voice calls.
Two versions of the tablet will be available – the GT-N5110 will be WiFi only and the GT-N5100 will include 3G – so based on this information it isn’t 4G ready. Bluetooth 4.0, N WiFi and A-GPS are on board too.
