RH Law Suspended for 120 days by Supreme Court

The Supreme Court on Monday issued a status quo ante order to suspend the implementation of the RH Law for 120 days, according to SC spokesperson Theodore Te.

The high court called for debates regarding the roll-out of the Reproductive Health Law.

Justices voted 10-5 in favor of the stop order, with Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno among those dissenting. Oral arguments on the RH bill are set to be heard June 18.
