Guinness: World Largest Onion Record for 8 kg – An onion weighing 8.150 kg was grown by Peter Glazebrook of Newark, Nottinghamshire. His world record breaking onion at The Harrogate Autumn Flower Show on September 16 in Harrogate, England may be able to claim the Guinness World Record for the largest onion.
Prior to his onion, gardener Peter Glazebrook has won also a Guinness World Record for the largest marrow (squash). According to the Guinness website, the heaviest onion is 7.495 kg.
