Major Prison Bus Crash Gave Inmates An Opportunity To Run, Instead They Helped

I’ll be the first to admit that I know very little about prison life or the inner workings of a criminal mind. I base most of my inmate preconceptions on the last episode of Orange Is The New Black I watched or generally just the whole Shawshank Redemption film; which inevitably leads me to believe that the primary aim of most prisoners is escape or, at the very least, early release. For that reason, I expect inmates to seize every opportunity they’re offered when it comes to fleeing incarceration.
