Young Man Rescued from Wreckage After 9 days – Kesennuma East Japan

NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) news has just released a report that a young guy was rescued this morning Saturday, from a wreckage of a house and was transferred to a hospital. He is in a state of shock and weak. He cannot talk but otherwise is without severe injury outside right now. The report came from a rescue team by Japan Self Defense operating in Kesennuma area of Miyagi Prefecture.

Nine days after the quake waiting for his rescue would be a one of the records of this kind.

This is a good news. Let’s pray for his fast recovery.

He is Moriya Katsuharu in his 20s. He was in the 2nd floor wrapped in Futon, a thick bedcloth.
